시카고 공작기계전시회 (IMTS 2008)는 주로 공작기계 및 관련 부품을 중심으로 오는 9월 8일부터 9월 13일까지 6일간의 일정으로 개최되며, 국제간의 기술교류와 무역의 진흥을 목적으로 매회 격년주기로 2년에 한번 열리고 있습니다. 전시회는 1,250여개사가 최신 기술과 제품을 출품하며 IMTS 2008은 미국 시카고의 McCORMICK PLACE 전시회장에서 성대하게 개최합니다.

The Ford Van Dyke Transmission Plant introduced two new six-speed transmissions within 18 months of each other, ramping up to full capacity of 450,000 in less than half a year.
At the same time, they achieved significant cost savings in both the process itself, as well as the cost per part.

Alexandria Maciag, plant manager of Ford’s Van Dyke Transmission Plant, Sterling Heights, Michigan will present the team's story—how people and technology combined to create new processes and production lines.
